Nature Reserves
Reserva Florestal da Umpulo (Umpulo Forest Reserve):
The Rivers Cuine, Kwanza and Chimandianga run along the northern, southern, eastern and western flanks of this reserve, which has an area of 4,500 km².

Tourist Attractions:
There are the Praias Verde in Kunhinga, and the Praia Azul, in Andulo, while the beach at Kuito is undergoing improvements.

Rivers
The main rivers are the Kwanza, Luando, Ku­quema, Kunhinga, Kutato and Kune. The province has a number of lagoons, such as the Ones at Chitenbo, in the municipality of Kuemba and Senongue, in the municipality of Chitembo.

Main tourist attractions Ruins
In the province of Bie, there are several ruins, such as the ceramic works at Silva Porto. The first municipal council with the same name, the first residence of the author of “Widows”, the first Catholic Church at Embala Jamba, the house of the first President of Angola, Dr. Agostinho Neto, the first national bank of Angola, the commercial association of Bie, the third age rest home, the Clubs Vitória Atletico de Bie and Uniäo Petro do Bie, among others.
