To the diplomat, the president of the Republic is the promoter and leader of the deep and decisive actions of reconstruction of the country.
"On this important occasion, I would like to reiterate our particular esteem and admiration for the important significance in the life of Angolans of your long life at a time peace is getting consolidated in the whole country and a new era of governance is getting affirmed, essentially directed to benefit of the populations”, reads the message.
According to Brito Sozinho, the head of State has turned one more year of life in an environment of more and more trust in the resolution of the main challenges like the fight against famine, poverty, illiteracy, violence, economic crimes, reconstruction and development to turn Angola into a good country to live in.
"The recent basketball (championship) has given us full conscience that the country, despite going through many constraints, counts on your competence and recognised capacities and qualities to continue being a stronger and stronger, credible and respected Angola”, says the diplomat in his message.
In his turn, Angola’s standing representative to the UN organisations, Ismael Gaspar Martins, congratulate the president of the Republic on his 65th birthday.
In a message that reached Angop, Ismael Martins, underlines the support and recognition to the Angolan head of State for the clear and tireless way he has been leading the destinies of the country.
The diplomat also reiterates president José Eduardo dos Santos’s devotion to the search for the best living for the population in favour of the socio-economic development, as well as the adoption of measures to strengthen of the State’s institutions, taking into account the principles of the lawful and democratic society.
On the other hand, José Eduardo dos Santos also received a message from the ruling MPLA central committee that expresses “the most sincere and warm congratulations, wish of good health, success in the personal and family life, in the performance of the important tasks and responsibilities in the leadership of our country, in this difficult moment of national reconstruction and effective reconciliation of the Angolan people”.
