Angola is Fourth Biggest African Importer of Brazilian Products 

Angola is the fourth African nation that imported various products last year from Brazil, informed here, the Brazilian ambassador to the country, Marcelo Vasconcelos.
Speaking to ANGOP in the light of Brazil`s 185th independence anniversary to be commemorated on September 07, Marcelo de Vasconcelos affirmed that after South Africa, Nigeria and Egypt, Angola bought more Brazilian products in 2006.
According to the diplomat, Brazilian exports to Angola reached USD 836.076,585, last year, with

sugar being the most bought product, with USD 88.946,939, in a total of 220 million kilogrammes.
From the products imported by Angola, among others such as machineries, spare parts for vehicles, tractors and telecommunication apparatus, he also stressed that petrol (USD 40.855,581) and products for the oil industry (USD 39.050,749).
In 2006, exports from Angola to Brazil, especially oil, reached about USD 460.000,000, according to the diplomat, who desires the existence of a greater diversification of Angolan products exported to the South American countries. Source: Angop
