Ministry recommends increase of cultivation areas |

Luanda – The participants to the extraordinary consultative
council of the Agriculture Ministry recommended last Friday
in Luanda measures to reinforce the national agricultural
machines, aiming at the increase of the cultivation areas.
The country's agrarian officials also recommended the company
Mecanagro to speed up the distribution process of agriculture
materials in the provinces.
During the event, the participants discussed about the situation
of rabies

| in the country, the mechanism for
granting credits to strengthen small and medium peasants.
The meeting also analysed, among other issues, matters related to
the “Conclusion Process of the National Strategy on Nutrition
and Food Security”, |
“Diagnoses and topics proposals for the Master Plan
for Reorganising and Reinforcing the Ministry of Agriculture”,
as well as “Research, development and technological
innovation”.
