Luanda: Spanish business team ends visit 

Luanda – A business delegation of the Principality of Asturias left the Angolan capital (Luanda) on Wednesday, after paying a three-day working visit to the country, in light of the strengthening of the cooperation between Angola and the Kingdom of Spain.

Speaking to ANGOP, the director

general of the Economic Development Institute of the Principality, Victor Marroquin, said that the delegation leaves Angola satisfied with the contacts made and assessment visits paid in the country’s capital, Luanda.

He informed that the delegation’s trip to the country aimed at preparing the participation of Spanish firms for the 2009 edition of the Luanda International Fair (FIL), and invite Angolan authorities to take part in the Angola/Asturias Forum, to happen in October 2009, in the Principality.

He explained that the October forum will serve to share knowledge among experts of the two countries and to analyse the best means of reinforcing the existing cooperation, or give opportunity to new sectors.

With this visit Angola and Spain might strengthen their cooperation in the field of telecommunication, communication system, cartography, civil engineering, computing, naval construction, logistics, among other areas of activity.
