affecting the whole planet, and obviously Angola also, our government
has already taken precautionary measures to reduce its negative
effects”, stressed the Statesman whilst speaking at the Second
Germany/Angola Forum.
According to the President, the series of actions
to be implemented are based on two essential principles, which are
the reduction of dependence on oil and diamonds, through the diversification
of the economy and creation of employment, and containing public
expenditures.
“Other measures concern replacing imports
and boosting exports, making our industry and agriculture more competitive,
the promotion of financial flow of strategic public firms, prioritising
of investments with assured financing and the creation of a new
strategy of trading diamonds, with a greater intervention of the
State”, emphasized President Dos Santos. Source: ANGOP
