President Dos Santos ends tour of Europe  

Luanda -  The Angolan head of State, Jose Eduardo dos Santos, returns on Wednesday (11/03) to the country , after carrying out a tour of Europe, on official visits to Berlin and Lisbon and private trip to Barcelona, Angop learnt from a communiqué issued in Lisbon by the Services of Support to the President of the Republic.

In Portugal, the African leader signed three memorandums of Understanding

The Angolan head of State, Jose Eduardo dos Santos, returns on Wednesday (11/03) to Angola

and one addendum, with highlight to the document that creates Angolan-Portuguese Bank, whose main shareholders are Angola’s State-owned oil company (Sonangol) and Portugal’s General Deposits Fund (CGD).

 During his visit, Jose Eduardo dos Santos held a meeting with his Portuguese counterpart, Cavaco Silva, with whom he analysed the cooperation between both countries.

The Angolan Statesman also met with the speaker of the National Assembly, Jaime Gama, and with the Prime minister, José Sócrates.

Concerning to his trip to Germany, there was signed a memorandum of understanding on strategic partnership for the enlargement and strengthening of the economic cooperation between the two nations.

José Eduardo dos Santos analysed the cooperation between Angola and Germany during separate meetings he held with his counterpart, Horst Kohler, and with Chancellor, Angela Merkel.

In Spain, the Southern African country’s president carried out a private trip.
