 Cuban Physicians Due To Arrive In Angola Next July
Around 60 physicians from Cuba specialised in public health are to arrive in Angola in July this year, ANGOP has learnt from a source with the Cuban Embassy.
According to the source, a total of 20 doctors will work in the programme of Community Health and the rest in health centres and hospitals of Luanda city, with highlight to the districts of Kilamba Kiaxi, Sambizanga and Cazenga.
The Cuban technicians come to Angola in the ambit of the accord cooperation signed this year between the ministries of health of Angola and Cuba.
Meanwhile, the authorities are finishing the construction of three residential complexes in the districts of Cacuaco, Viana and Kilamba Kiaxi, to accommodate the Cuban physicians. Source: Angop
