Cabinet Council Approves Kimberlites Prospecting, Recognition Contract 

A contract of association in participation for prospecting, research and recognition of kimberlites, between Endiama, Gevale Mining Industry and the Hipergesta-Enterprise and Trade Management SARL, was approved, in Luanda, by the Cabinet Council.
Addressed by the Head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos, the meeting also approved the contracts of

association in participation between Endiama-EP, Gevale Mining Industry and the Pension Funds, for prospecting, research and recognition of kimberlites in the Cassasala region.
The Cabinet also approved the contract of association in participation between Endiama-EP, Gemang, SOM Veterang, Micol, Wenji, ZA-Kufuma and Caxinji, for prospecting, research and recognition of kimberlites in the eastern region of Lucapa.
According to a press release, the government also approved the investment project dubbed "CUCA-Beer Union Company of Angola, SA - expansion and modernisation project", estimated at approximately USD 92 million.
This is designed, namely, to increase the production capacity of that brewery and improving the quality of its product, through the introduction of new equipment, machines, accessories and others.
The same way, the Cabinet Council approved the investment proposal of the project named "EKA- Beer Company of Angola, SA-expansion and modernisation project", estimated at approximately 42 million dollars.
This investment foresees the rehabilitation of existing equipment, the increase of the productive capacity, the maintaining of the current 347 employment posts and the creation of 35 new jobs. Source: Angop
