Over one million US Dollars were
invested by Angolan Government in the construction and equipping
of a new branch of the Savings and Credit Bank (BPC) in Luanda’s
Calemba high density suburb.
The BPC branch was inaugurated Thursday by the vice chief of staff
of the Angolan Army (FAA)`s Land Forces, gen. David Catata.
The new branch, whose building works lasted one-year-and-a-half,
located at one of (FAA) quarters will enable the militaries to carry
out all kinds of banking operations.
The branch just inaugurated on behalf of the chief of staff of FAA’s
Land Forces, Jorge Barros "Nguto", will offers 10 more
new jobs.
On the occasion, BPC administrator, António Inácio,
noted that the opening of the new branch in Luanda, will help provide
better services to its customers.
According to gen. David Catata, BPC’s initiative to build
its branches in military quarters comes to respond to a big demand
of banking services by soldiers and nearby civilian community.
BPC now counts on 110 branches countrywide. Two more BPC counters
will be inaugurated in Luanda on same week. Source: Angop |
