South African Entrepreneurs to Boost Presence in Angola
The Ambassador of South Africa to Angola, Themba Kubheka pledged in Luanda that his country`s businessmen are interested to invest in Angola in the utmost sectors.
Speaking to ANGOP, the diplomat explained that his country is ready to participate in the development of Angola and in other SADC countries, through the implementation of various projects to be agreed upon by the respective governments.
According to Themba Kubheka, his country`s entrepreneurs are interested, apart from the diamond and oil sectors, in the area of mineral exploration of iron and nickel.
Speaking about the interchange matter, the diplomat quoted the example of the holding of African Nations Cup (CAN 2010) in Angola which will coincide, in the same year, with the World Cup to happen in South Africa. To him there should have been cooperation between the sports structures of the two countries.
On Angola`s progress since his arrival, in November 2005, he expressed satisfaction not only with the Angolans’ will to forget the past but also with their commitment to the electoral registration process.
The business volume between the two countries is beyond USD 300 million per year. Source: Angop
