| The deputy chief of staff of
the Angolan Navy (MGA), vice-admiral Fernando Jose, on Monday here
said Portugal is a valuable partner for the development and modernisation
of this area of the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA).
Speaking to the press, at the end of the visit of Angolan officers
and military students to a Portuguese military ship moored for three
days in Lobito Port, the admiral aid with the improvement of the
national economy, the MGA may acquire modern and efficient equipment.
The Portuguese ship, called Alves Cabral, has on it a helicopter,
